Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes - sliced
  • 1 tsp - garlic or ginger chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 green chili chopped
  • 1/8 tsp chaat masala powder
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • salt - as per requirement
  • 1/4th to 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves chopped
  • 2 to 4 tsp sev
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 1/2 to 3/4th tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Pomegranate seeds
  • For Green Chutney
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 4 to 6 mint leaves
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/8 inch ginger
  • 1 tbsp water
  • salt as required

Instructions

  • To Make a Chutney – Add Pudina, Coriander leaves, garlic, ginger, salt to a blender jar.
  • Wash potatoes and peel them. Boil them.
  • Transfer this chutney to another bowl.
  • Take a pan. Heat oil on medium flame. Add ginger, garlic and green chillies to the pan.
  • Saute them for 1 minute.
  • Add potatoes, saute for 2 minutes till they turn to golden brown colour.
  • Now take another bowl. Add red chilli powder, chaat masala powder and cumin powder and lit bit salt. Mix well.
  • Now add green chutney to the whole mixture and tamarind chutney. Squeeze some lemon juice.
  • Transfer this aloo chaat to a serving plate.
  • Sprinkle some coriander leaves, pomegranate sev.
  • Serve this Aloo Chaat Recipe immediately.
