Fried Rice itself is a flavourful and delicious recipe. Adding eggs to the Fried rice makes it more tempting and mouth-watering. This recipe is somewhat similar to Veg Fried Rice. Although you can add or delete some ingredients. You can also use celery, garlic and star anise add great flavour to the rice. In addition to this, you can also add vinegar which kills the raw smell of eggs.



Egg Fried Rice gives you the extra protein as rice contain protein. Adding eggs to Fried Rice along with the veggies gives you the extra flavour.

This rice recipe is perfect for special occasions like kitty parties, pot lucks or even family get-togethers. Egg Fried Rice can be paired with a lot of main-course dishes. However, it tastes best when paired with Vegetable Manchurian, Chilli Chicken, Paneer Masala, etc. To make this dish even better, add some chopped garlic and fry it well, fried garlic adds a nice piquant aroma to this dish. You can also make this fried rice recipe delicious by tweaking it with some spices and ingredients of your choice.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice uncooked
  • 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1.5 tsp soya sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • salt as per requirement
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 3 tsp spring onions
  • 1 carrot medium
  • 1/2 capsicum small
  • 1/2 cup cabbage
  • 3 eggs small

Instructions

  • Wash the rice gently. Soak for at least 30 minutes. Drain them completely.
  • Take a medium-size vessel. Cook the rice in a lot of water. Cook the rice completely.
  • Finely chop the veggies. Break the eggs in a bowl. Set aside. 
  • Main Process:
  • Heat oil in a large pan. Add finely chopped garlic, fry till the garlic is lightly fried.
  • Add chopped veggies, spring onions. Fry them till they turn to golden brown colour.
  • Reduce the flame to medium, Pour the eggs. Scrambled them and cook till they turn light brown.
  • Sprinkle pepper, salt, and vinegar. Cook till eggs are fully cooked.
  • Now add rice and mix everything well. Add little more oil if required.
  • Fry on mediun-high flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Garnish egg fried rice with some onion and coriander leaves.
