Bread Pakora Recipe is one of the popular breakfast recipes that is mainly served on the streets of India. Bread Pakora is counted as one of the easiest snacks that we can also make in-home. Additionally, it is a popular snack in the hilly area and tourist destinations. There are two ways to make this recipe: Plain Bread Pakora and Potato Stuffed Bread Pakora recipe.

The plain one is made without stuffing while the other one is stuffed with boiled potatoes. Basically, it is a bread-based fried snack that is stuffed with potatoes, these are later dipped in a spiced chickpea batter. Generally, it is presented as a starter dish or street food dish. However, it can be also enjoyed as an evening snack with a cup of tea. Here we have shown you the stuffed Bread pakora recipe.

  • For Stuffing:
  • 3 potato, boiled & mashed
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1-inch ginger, finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp dry mango powder
  • 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • For Besan Batter:
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • ¼ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • pinch of soda
  • ½ cup water or as required
  • 4 slices bread, white or brown
  • 4 tsp green chutney
  • oil for deep frying


  • Firstly, take a large mixing bowl.  Add 3 boiled potatoes to that bowl.
  • Also add 1 green chilli, 1-inch ginger, 2 tbsp coriander,¼ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp amchur or dry mango powder and ½ tsp chaat masala.
  • Combine all the ingredients well and aloo stuffing is ready.
  • Now, spread 1 tsp of green chutney over bread slice and cut half in equal sizes.
  • Spread a tbsp of prepared aloo stuffing over half a slice of bread.
  • Cover with another half slice and dip into besan or chickpea batter covering both sides.
  • Deep fry immediately into the hot oil.
  • Splash oil over bread pakora and fry on medium flame flipping occasionally.
  • Fry till the pakora turns into golden brown colour.
  • Take a serving plate. Place a blotting paper over it. Place all the fried pakoras on that paper so that it absorbs the excess oil from it.
  • Lastly, serve bread pakora with green chutney or tomato sauce.

Cheese Bread Pakora | Stuffed Cheese Inside The Bread

Today, I prepared this yummy bread pakoda with cheese, capsicum filling inside the bread. you don’t need much time to prepare this yummy snack. You can prepare just in 15 minutes so enjoy this pakoda with a hot cup of tea

Bread slice6
Cheese1 cup grated
Green Chilli5
Coriander leaves2 teaspoon
Chat masala1/2 teaspoon
Saltas needed
Oregano herbsa pinch
Oilfor deep frying
Gram flour1 cup
Red chilli powder1/4 teaspoon


1. Grate the cheese and chop the onion, green chilli, coriander leaves and capsicum. Add chat masala ,salt and oregano herbs and mix well.

2. Take the bread slice and spread the filling as shown below in picture. Then cover it with the other slice of bread.

3. Cut Diagonally bread slice to make two slices as shown below in picture. Mix gram flour, salt and red chilli powder for the batter/coating in a bowl. add enough water to make a thick batter – which will help to coat the bread slices. Add tablespoon by tablespoon of water to avoid thin batter. You need medium consistency.

4. Dip one stuffed slice in the batter and coat both the sides. drop this to mid-high hot oil.

5. when you see the bottom turning golden brown turn the other side. once done, drop it on paper towel to drain excess oil and serve hot with your favourite sauce.
